My friend brought me back some Bi Lou Chun from Taiwan back in 2000. Best I’ve ever had, since then I’ve been searching a chasing for a great bi luo chun, this is by far the best I’ve been able to source, its tiers above any Chinese version. Highly recommend this tea!

Delicate and fresh and better than expected

This is my first tasting of Bi Lo Chun. Though I do love fennel I didn’t notice any fennel notes. But I also probably miss most such notes. Perhaps they are beyond me or perhaps I need more time. What I did notice and love is the fresh delicate taste. Maybe the delicacy is reinforced by the softness of the leaves after brewing? In any case I really am quite happy with this tea and will order again!

Bi Lou Chun Spring 2025

When I opened the bag I was greeted by a strong breeze of passion fruit and mango. The leafs are small, hairy and have a beautiful green color. The Bi Luo Chun tastes really fresh, with notes of lime zest and green vegetables. Good price for such a high quality. The best Bi Luo Chun I had so far.
