My Go To Pedals

I love these pedals, i like the solid platform, they clip in easily don’t make you feel like you will get stuck but also don’t make you feel like you are not attached to the bike. I decided to run the same pedals across all my bikes that way my shoes and cleats are all the same i can flip from one bike to another without changing set up’s or wondering if i would get stuck in my pedals. I did try One Up flat clipless and the experience was not the same, got locked in on my first ride stalled and fell over which was funny but not cool, and when i tried to adjust even with the spacer i was neither in nor out and hated it. I decided if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and stuck with Shimano. Price wise these are at about the top of what i will spend on pedals and given i am not a pro i doubt the weight savings for the next grade up of $100+ more are really going to benefit me vs my pocket. My only gripe is Shimano don’t offer fun colors which would be nice if they did. I’ve ridden 1,000’s of miles on this pedal line never any issues.

Great pedal. Easy and smooth entry and release after clicking in and out about 5 times. Platform provides additional support, which I can feel, and will hopefully reduce hot foot.
