Top Grain Leather Briefcase Bag

I'm only giving it 3 stars because my husband loves this bag (otherwise I would have sent it back and rated it a "1") and apparently he doesn't have the same sense of smell that I have. This bag STINKS like stale food. It's a strong smell that permeates his car and the part of the kitchen where he parks the bag every night. We tried airing it out. But after 8 months, it still stinks as badly as it did on the first day. And, no, it doesn't smell like fine leather!

Not true to the picture and not the type of leather I wanted but still a deal at the price and I still like the usability so I’m not sending it back

After a couple of weeks of use, I'm satisfied with this bag. It's big enough to carry all the things I need when I'm out of the office and seems to be well-made. It's got that "new leather" smell, which I like. My last bag lasted over a decade; I'm hoping this one will too. The color isn't close to the picture on the website. That was a huge letdown when I opened it. Hopefully, the color will change with use. It should have been packaged better for shipping. Pros: - Lots of space. - Side pocket holds my Stanley flask perfectly. - Cloth interior and padded PC pocket Cons: - The color is much brighter (and feminine) than shown on the website - The strap is too thin and cuts into your shoulder. - It was shipped in a plastic bag wrapped in tissue paper. That felt careless and cheap.
