Nights of Payne Town

I recently got into City of Mist with a group of friends, and I have to say this is the best ttrpg campaign I've played in the six years I've been running tabletop. The cases do a really good job of both guiding the MC and giving the MC room to customize the story to fit their Crew and supporting cast. There's lots of memorable NPCs and scenes to run, but the best part is the narrative filled with both noir and mythical tropes put into a surprisingly synergized package. What's also nice is that the story arc is split into sub-arcs and cases that let you create relatively self-contained stories with their own climaxes. That said, you'd be missing out just running/playing each case on their own. A great showcase of what the system and setting can do; I would love to see more official story arcs instead of just one-off cases!
