Premium black felt

I was hoping this felt was going to be like Jo-Ann's premium felt, which used to be super thick. When I got the felt it is thicker than the 9x12 squares that I am buying in the stores, since nobody around me anymore has felt by the yard because Joanne's is now closed. I don't feel this is premium but it is a better quality and thickness than the 9x12 squares that I bought at Walmart
