Discovery 4FEV Blackout

OK tent.

I have used this for 2 seasons now, and I dont love it. There are a few design faults with this tent. Firstly the velcro is not strong enough to hold the fly to the poles when setting up, normally they pop off making it hard to get the fly central to the inner. (Especially in strong winds.) this makes the tent less effective in terms of weather resistance. There is a tie at the top of the dome to attach the fly to the inner, but this is way to high to reach. The inner dome sags in the middle as there is too much fabric. On the upside, it has withstood several down pours leak free, and withstood high winds, it is also a good size for 2 people. Prior to buying this tent, I had a friends tent of similar size from a competitors company which was way better in terms of ease of pitch.

Great Family Tent

We purchased the Discovery 4FEV Blackout tent in the Labour Day sale last year and used it for the first time over the Kirihimete/ NY break. We were super impressed — it comfortably fit our family of four (two adults and two primary-aged kids). The larger room worked well for sleeping, with the smaller entryway used as a living space. The quality is excellent, with great airflow thanks to the large windows. The high roof makes it easy to stand and move around, and the blackout feature is a real game changer. It was also easy to set up. An ideal tent for families with younger kids, while those with teens may want their own space. We’re very happy customers and have just purchased the outdoor shelter to go with it!

Best tent

Is amazing! We love it we are a family of 4 and we all fit perfectly with space and with young children we could all sleep in because of the dark room features :) stood up to Nz weather and easy to put up its the best tent we've had to date.
