Discovery 6 Blackout

Tent needed!

Going away for a weekend, no tent. Purchased this tent 1 week before we went. Opened it up on site. Hoped everything was present. Great size tent, reasonably dark, definitely not blackout. Once we got the right poles in the right place (no we didn't check length beforehand) it was easy enough to put up. Extra awning poles not delivered in time, fortunately not required for this trip. No way is it fitting back in the bag, but that's typical of most tents I think. Purchased on offer at $800, wouldn't say it's worth full price, but ok at price I paid.

Great tent

Easy to set up tent, it took us just 20 minutes the first time. We used to use an air tent, and this tent is as easy to pitch as our air tent. The weight and size are really good if you want to save space in the car. The blackout rooms are great. We camped for two nights in very windy conditions and the tent didn’t budge. The only downside is that when it’s very windy, the tent flap or cover makes a loud flapping noise. Coming from an air tent that didn’t have a second cover, we didn’t experience that before. Overall, it’s a really good tent for a family.

Great purchase

Really happy with our new tent. Such great quality. It didn’t leak at all in heavy rains and stood proudly in high winds. The blackout really helps get a sleep-in with small kids.
