I purchased the brushes as gifts. One for my dad and one for my husband. My dad had a similar brush that he bought from a door to door salesman when he was dating my mom 60+ years ago. He recently returned home from a 2 month hospital stay with a walker. We needed to thin out some areas of his home so that it was more accessible and we accidentally threw out the 60 year old brush. The new one was a peace offering.
