Throttle okay, but hand grips all plastic

I ordered a thumb throttle with the kit, but it did not fit with my shifter so I ordered the half twist throttle. The throttle works well and has a rubber grip. However, the the hand grips are all plastic and very cheap feeling. I tossed the grips in the garbage and purchased a pair on Amazon to use with the twist throttle.
