Bad casings

I will say that my past experience with PS seasoning has been overall very positive. I've even used these casings in the past with good results. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. I ordered these casings and they did arrive in a reasonable amount of time, which was nice. However, when I pulled the bag out of the fridge two days later and opened them, they smelled very bad to the point where I wasn't willing to use them. I ended up throwing them out and having to find a local butcher to provide the casings. I'm assuming that some of the blame falls on the shipping company as they left the box sit out in the hot sun all day until I got home from work. Nevertheless, still disappointing having to throw something out after spending this much on them.
