I have a mid-century modern Italian instrument which has responsive issues. Moving to the softer string made all the difference in the world. My instrument is much more responsive have not lost volume or sound quality very playable strings.

I've used these for years, I love the pure tone. I use all Evah Pirazzi except for the E for which I prefer other kinds.
