Gourmet Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Planifolia

I mean its a lot of vanilla beans for a really affordable price. Was able to make close to a gallon of extract with 50 beans.

It was my first time ever buying vanilla beans. I had never seen a vanilla bean in real life before. I bought them after seeing a YouTube video on how to make your own vanilla extract. It's now been infusing for one week. Depending on who you listen to it can take from one month to 6 months for it to be ready. I'm not sure but I'm assuming the difference is, if you shake the container everyday it would be ready in a month if you just let your beans soak in the alcohol without doing anything to it it will take 6 months. I have split the beam in half to open the pod then I've cut each pod into three pieces. I will test my extract in a month to see how it is.

The beans are just as described and very nice. Love the vacuum-sealed packaging. I will be ordering again!
