Iceland’s lovely, versatile yarn

I love this light worsted yarn for stranded knitting on outerwear garments. I have made many Lopapeysa sweaters and jackets. The yarn is not particularly soft, as the outer, hollow shafted, water repellent hairs of the sheep are also used, but softens with wear and is wonderfully light. (Tip! When blocking use shampoo and then hair conditioner to make it softer). I also use this yarn for Christmas stockings and knitted toy animals. I’m loopy for Lopi

Fantastic shop & help

Stopped here with my family to find some yarn to make my grand daughter a Christmas stocking. The person helping me was excellent ! Knowledgeable and able to help me choose the right yarn and showed me some other products I’d never seen. Highly recommend this one
