Tons of DMGs have lived without a lens for too long. That leaves the front polarizer exposed and scuffed/scratched as a result, or burned out altogether. Replacing with these gives a quick like-new appearance. A couple cut-down strips of double-stick tape hold all in place against the front shell. Slight color difference compared to original, but isn't a problem for me. (OEM on left [greener], HHL on right [tanner])
