This color has a touch of sheerness to it so I did need to use a white sheet underneath to ensure the black folding table underneath was not showing through. I think this truly is just because I ordered white and had nothing to do with the quality of the tablecloth. These tablecloths are a polyester material that provide a satin looking finish. I truly would not have known they weren't satin when I opened them up if i hadn't read the description on the website. I'm not sure if this is recommended by the company or not, but we were able to roll the tablecloths in the dryer on low heat/delicate for a few minutes and all of the wrinkles came right out without any damage to the tablecloth. It took less than an hour to do all of them whereas steaming by hand would have taken us hours. I could not recommend these tablecloths more, 10/10!
