Tragopan V6

V6/Monal easy to use + full concealment

Tiny bit of history here. I had ordered the "blanket 3-d blind" and was happily photographing deer. Then, from behind me where I was exposed and sitting in my chair, a hawk landed. I wanted to photograph it (Red Shouldered) but I knew my movements would disturb the deer. At that moment, the hawk started screaming over and over and over. The deer startled, perked up, and then ran off at the hawk's alarm. That's when I decided to order the Monal/V6 to cover my 6 o'clock!

Nothing to Hide

The Tragopan V6 is my second hide from Tragopan. My first was a Grouse V and over the years I drove it into the ground until it gave up the ghost. The V6 is great. Very easy to set up, structurally stable, great material quality. I have already logged over 30 hours in it since its arrival a month ago. Rain, wind, snow no problem. My only critique is that the Grouse had a 50x50 perimeter while the V6 has a rectangular 51x42 perimeter, which makes it feels a bit smaller on the inside. Not a big deal for me.

Great quality and worth the money to any wildlife photographer.
