Mendota Narrow Leather Hunt style Dog Collar

High quality, practical, stylish and well made

I'm delighted with the narrow (3/4" rather than 1") Mendota hunting collar I recently bought via Leading Dog website. The service was efficient and the collar arrived within a reasonable time-frame given current C-19 related postal delays. Previously I'd had the 1" wide collar which was quite heavy in combination with the deep engraved brass name tag I happen to have. We've lost nothing in terms of the product's strength by going smaller it seems, and with its brasswork being proportionately smaller than the bigger collar it is lighter so suits my dog's youthful build much better. The collar's leather and brass are very nice quality and the stitching appears to be perfectly finished. I dithered over which size to order, 18 or 20" as my dog's neck measures 19", but the very helpful online size guide and description led me to the 18" which had sufficient extra holes and length of collar to fit through the D-ring. I'm delighted with the product, and service, and my dog is comfortable and looks great!
