1776 Dark Roast Coffee

Looking for the perfect cup of Joe

I have been trying all kinds of coffee from multiple internet vendors. I can remember just one time in my life where I had coffee at some hotel or restaurant (no clue where) when I thought to myself-now this is really good. 1776 is the closest I have come but its not quite there yet. I don't have the tastebuds to tell you that it needs a little hazelnut or butternut, or chocolate, or whatever I see all the different adjectives to describe the taste and my brain just goes -meh, yeah whatever. The tastebuds don't register well enough to tell me what is missing just that something still is. Its the best so far but.....

It’s not as bold on my palate which is a pleasant surprise. Still has the chocolate and caramel notes. Not as smoky as I expected but that could be my palate.
