Excessive fan noise

The quality of the fan seems good however after installing in line with an upstairs bedroom we could not sleep due to added noise generated by the fan. As a result we added a simple three speed fan controller and found the lowest speed tolerable. I don’t know if it now pushes much air but don’t want to try to remove because it took some effort to install due to the duct configuration.

For the most part everything was great. Shipment was very fast and appreciated since my existing fan had stopped working and our bathroom was freezing like a refrigerator. I did have some problems using the website trying to use PayPal. For some reason, it was not allowing me to order just one fan using PayPal. But everything worked out ok.
