Fantastic travel hoodie

Bought the men’s version after reading reviews on the women’s version. The pockets in and out comfortably hold more than you think. The color options are better in men’s and the fit works well for my long torso. I am very happy with my purchase.

This was my first purchase from Unbound and the reason for ordering the hoodie was to replace a ~20 year old beloved Banana Republic merino and cashmere hoodie. The new hoodie feels more like sweatshirt material rather than wool. Also it is less charcoal and is more slate in color, with a blueish tinge to it. But, it is soft and fits well. I’m sure it will grow on me.

I Understand the Hype

BLUF: Great lightweight jacket or zip hoodie. Great for the slightly chilly mornings and evening and works well layered under a rain jacket. As with their other items, consider sizing up if you're used to other brands like Wool & Prince (check their size guides, which are accurate). Long Story: I was hesitant on this due to a lot of internet / Youtube hype, which I often find leads to overpriced sponsored products that I abandon. I bought the transit hoodie a little while ago and absolutely love it, so decided to give this a shot. I also have the Ponte Travel hoodie from Wool & Prince, which I also love but wanted something a little thinner for the chilly days and that would layer a little easier. This fits the bill from a size and weight perspective. As with all Unbound items, it's well made and feels great. I don't have concerns on its durability, outside the normal wool concerns. Sizing wise, the size matches the measurements on the site, but I think overall, there measurements are smaller than typical US, so I normally wear an XL but get XXL from Unbound I do wish the pockets were zipper pockets like the transit hoodie; that was a feature I didn't realize how much I would like.
