My 5 1/2 year old was captivated by this story. We talked about Jack Frost and Mrs. Thaw every time the winter weather changed. I know this will be a seasonal favorite for years to come.

Sweetest Illustrations

We live in Minnesota and this is the perfect book for our son, who we're hoping. to have up on skiis in the years ahead. Beskow's illustrations are beautiful! Our child is 2 years old and this is too advanced for him, but we frequently just look at the drawings and talk about what we see in them. I ordered the larger size to match our other Elsa Beskow books, but the small one would be a perfect stocking stuffer.
