Great XC SPD pedals

Wanted to replace the M540 SPD pedals on my Ibis Ripley. Been using those off and on for years and were pretty banged up looking. Saw the sale at Mike's Bikes and went for it. The XT's are a little lighter than the M540's and look better. I did consider the XTR M9100 pedals also but is saving about 1 ounce worth $40 more?
