I have recently fitted a pair of humbucker size Sparkletrons to a PRS SE and I'm super pleased with them, really chimey and "open" sounding, with plenty of body in the neck position, lovely scooped sound in the middle and a wonderful lack of that annoying midrange "honk" at the bridge. I opted for the unpotted version and am pleased I did, brings out the highs really well. These pickups have transformed a fairly lacklustre sounding instrument into something I can't put down. Now three of my guitars have McNelly pickups, tells its own story.
