Around the Year by Elsa Beskow

We love this book, and my 2 year old is always asking me to read it! I was worried it might be outdated for her taste, but I am thrilled with how much she enjoys it.

Charming!

I hadn’t seen this book before I bought it, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, however I was not disappointed. There is a poem for each month of the year with whimsical illustrations to accompany each one. The first couple of pages are poems about the year as a whole, one about the hours of the day and another about the days of the week. Overall, this is a lovely book and I’m glad I took a chance on it!

Charming Book That My Children Adore

Outstanding quality and my children were immediately enamored with the gorgeous illustrations. This is truly a wonderful way to cherish and reflect upon each month as the year goes by.
