I wish I could tell you the hours of research I did on basic block sets for my one year olds birthday. Sounds silly but I want them to last for ages and I want them to be a tactile experience as well. These are the greatest bang for your buck while maintaining true quality. And I love the flashier brands and find the value in those brands for different things but if you want a natural wood, this specific set, is a perfect foundation set.
