Ukrainian Easter Egg Decorating Kit - Pysanky

So fun and so beautiful!

I will admit that I bought this for myself, and that I had a lot of fun using it! The instruction book was very easy to follow and contained so many beautiful designs. The only one of my kids who asked to try it was the youngest, who is 6. She did a good job on the first layer and then got bored and I finished it for her. It does take a while. My only complaint is that there is only one use of each color dye in the package. I hoping I can also get a refill kit so I can make more pretty eggs!

The kit made it a little late, but we are going to add it to a social study class on Ukraine and use it as a craft. Next year, I will order much earlier for bunny day.

We loved diving into the history of Ukraine and learning a new technique. Challenging enough for older children, making it a fun and meaningful family project. Highly recommend!
