By purchasing this "Blessing Basket" I feel that I helped empower families in Africa to thrive. Bella luna's unique model ensures that artisans receive at least 2. 5 times fair trade for their work. It is dyed with natural plant dyes, woven with native elephant grass and the handle is wrapped in leather. I gifted this to my great granddaughter who only 4 months old. As she grows, this basket will be used by her for so many different types of playing, as filling it with treasures from nature. I can see her filling her hinged swing handled basket with many different treasures through the years. Her parents will only allow their daughter to have naturally made toys and this beautiful basket fits this requirement.
