Well made and vibrant

The basket is well made and the patterns are bold and vibrant. The material is great because it is sturdy but also pliable and can be reshaped using water. I do wish there was a way to select your preferred color of the basket. The idea of the basket design being random is fun but I wouldn't have selected the colors I received if I had been given a choice.

I love these baskets for toys storage and anything around the house. It’s beautifully crafted, and looks stunning. It’s extremely durable and I will continue to purchase more.

Child's Bolga Basket

I gifted this Bolga basket to my 4 month old great granddaughter. It is made of native elephant grass dyed with natural plant dyes, the handle is wrapped with goat leathers and it is handmade in Ghana. Her parents only want toys made of natural materials and this beautiful basket fits this requirement perfectly. As my great granddaughter grows, this basket will be used for many wonderful things. For now she can grab the handle and move it around and gaze at the lovely naturally dyed colors. It is a life long basket! At my age, 85, I would keep my handwork in it.
