Dry felting fun

I bought my two boys (9 yrs and 6 yrs) this felting pad, some felting needles and wool roving for Christmas. It was a hit! We started by watching the Bella Luna video tutorial and using cookie cutters to felt flat shapes (trees, hearts, gingerbread men) to be used for Christmas ornaments. My 9 year old than tried three dimensional shapes using online YouTube tutorials and made a rabbit with my help and a bird more independently. The foam pad was nice and thick and my son kept saying how satisfying the sound it made when he stabbed it. :) I would recommend using it on a table or a clipboard in your lap. He enjoyed it so much he brought it along to do with his cousins. Felt like a mix of sculpting and painting with wool. Was a great winter break activity. Product arrived as described and neatly packaged, great present.

Great for Needle Felting

We are big fans of needle felting, and this pad is just perfect for creating felted crafts. It is very thick and sturdy, so you can use it over and over again. Depending on how many projects you complete, it will last you for at least a year. This is my go to pad for needle felting, and I highly recommend it.
