Love the way this paints but difficult to wash off brushes

I love the way this black paints. It is so crisp and line work and teardrops look amazing with it. I got it because the description said it is water resistant yet still water based. I used this as my black exclusively on a couple of big jobs, and while I didn’t notice a difference in smudge resistance, I did have a really hard time getting it out of my brushes. Further, I was using a brush tub, so the paint that scraped off into the grooves at the bottom of the tub transferred into my other brushes. If it was just staining, I can deal with that, but there was actual paint stuck in the bristles that affected the brush performance. I searched for online reviews to see if anyone else had this experience, but I couldn’t find any similar complaints, so maybe it’s just me. I did eventually get it out of my brushes with a lot of elbow grease, but I haven’t been eager to use it again because it was so much work, and I used soaps that I generally would not use on my face painting brushes.
