I haven't actually started the project I purchased this paint for, however; I have done a few tests using different colours as a base coat. White (as recommended) achieves the mother of pearl effect that this paint promises, so that's great. It also gave a fantastic metallic green look when applied over black base coat, which opens up lots of possibilities for future projects. Very happy with the product and will be adding further Turbodork colours to my palette.
