My dog Shaggy or Mr. Fussy Pants, was not thrilled. However, my granddog Maggie could have eaten the whole bag! She loves coming to Grammy’s house for treats and Shaggy’s leftovers! I make Shaggy’s food (chicken, hamburger and liver) because he just will not eat dog food! I’m very choosy about what he eats in the way of treats, so it’s nice that I can trust Campfire Treats, knowing that they are 100% wholesome! As an aside, the chicken feet are awesome too!

My dog is a picky eater and not very food-driven, but she will do just about anything to get her paws on these turkey hearts. I'm about to place an order so I can give these as gifts to some friends who have dogs too. On an ethical note, I've scoured the earth for dog treats that are Animal Welfare Certified through Global Animal Partnership, and Campfire is one of the few companies I can find that's committed to using GAP certified ingredients across the board. For anyone unfamiliar with the certification standards, that takes a LOT more work than slapping a "cage free chicken" label on a product (which is about as far as big brands with 100x the resources will go). It's good to discover brands that care as much about the welfare of the animals that feed our pets as they do about our pets themselves.
