First Nibs - May 2026
Bubble Gum Swirl: This was an extremely fun flavor. The sweetness never went over the top, but instead relied on some nice fruity notes to deliver its message in the midst of the chocolate.
Caramel Corn Crunch: I love the alliteration of the name and the rich flavor of this bar! That richness is complemented by an almost bright, buttery flavor and a smooth, marshmallow mouth feel. I would go for this one again.
Amaranth Vanilla: The balance of bitter and sweet here is incredible! It's almost like a chocolate-covered coffee bean with a bit of the initial bitter bite rolling like a gentle wave into the softly sweet vanilla. Partnering with the Bird-Friendly initiative by the Smithsonian was icing on an already awesome cake. I hope to have some more of this bar in the future.

First Nibs - July 2026
Orange Vanilla Cola: All the bright and delightful flavor of cola without the fussy fizziness of carbonation. This one's giving strong root-beer float vibes--if the float were made with orange sherbet instead of vanilla ice cream.
Orange Espresso: A fantastic chocolate-covered coffee bean flavor with just a bit of orange flavor at the end of each taste. This is a new personal favorite, and one I'm sad to see go.
Coconut Milk: An excellent staple for just enjoying the smooth, sumptuous flavor of Raaka's unique way of doing chocolate.
Chocolate Sundae & Cones: A lighter, loftier, and sweeter style of cookies and cream. The vanilla of the cone is a sweet complement to the smooth milk chocolate flavor. I don't usually love sweet chocolate, but this struck a brilliant balance.
Double Chocolate Chip: Bright and vanilla-forward with chocolate that tastes a bit like a light, airy milkshake. I would definitely go for this again.
Bananas Foster: Signature banana sweetness, soft and mellow, starts out front and center, then melts into a delicious, velvety smooth and rich chocolate. I can see why so many people enjoy this bar. I'm glad it's not just a limited-batch one!
