St. John Paul II Pope Ex-Indumentis Relic Medal - Silver-Tone

This started with the idea of getting a yellow-bead rosary to complement the Luminous chaplet (because with that prayer, I like the idea of offering yellow roses to our Blessed Mother). I wasn't going to be all that lavish, but when the very first hit on a Google search landed on an a Luminous-specific rosary, I knew Mary approved of the idea. So I opted to go all-in. With the Luminous Rosary being proscribed by Pope John Paul II, and knowing Catholiclly carried blessed 2nd class relic pendants for JP2, it seemed obvious that the two would make a perfect match. And they do! The only reason why this review gets four stars as opposed to five is the attachment options. The ring on the pendant is a simple loop with no way to open it (not without destroying the ring, that is). If your intent is to string it on a simple chain, it's perfect for you as is. However, attaching it to a rosary like this took the addition of a split-ring (not included), to which I also attached a clasp (not included) for easy removal later if need be. Regardless, the finished product is absolutely great, giving praise to Mary, and due veneration to the Pope of our modern times who set the bar for all to follow.
