Very impressed with the quality of this metal detector. It is very user friendly and easy to learn.

Informative Book to Help Get More Out of Equinox

Pros: The author shares detailed information on the theory and operation of the Equinox, evidently drawing on much experience using both this detector and other advanced models. He explains how to be more successful avoiding trash and identified several of the same 'problems' I have been experiencing as a new user and their workarounds. Cons: Not easy reading (not 'Equinox for Dummies'), more like a college textbook. I plan to reread this and manual again as I learn how to better use the Nox 800. Diagrams useful and could have been more. More real life examples to further explain points would have been great. Also, my copy was missing appendices 27 though 32 listed in the Contents.

Great manual to learn how to use my new minelab equinox 800. I skimmed through it once already and referred back to it a few times since I started using it.
