works fine but a little tight fit on the wire

I had aluminum wires with pretty thick rubber and mesh insulation on my recent install and the hole was barely big enough to shove onto the wire. I think it would be better to make the inner hole a big bigger even if the whole unit got a little larger (I doubt that in a typical install the outside space constraint is more common than the wire fit constraint.

Best meter yet

I have purchased and installed several three-phase metering devices. This EKM was by far the best. I ordered everything, including the line voltage taps, all parts arrived in the same container along with easy to understand instructions. I did some prep of the in-line fuse holders in the shop, about 1 hour. I got on the job site to do the install and 1.5 hours later I was in the truck leaving. I had installed and load tested the meter in 1.5 hours! Needless to say, all went very well and I am very pleased with the quality and value of this metering system.
