Temple Leather Carry Handle - Light Brown

This is a lovely example of quality leatherwork. I purchased it as I often have to lift my bike up and down steps and having a purpose designed hand grip lower down above the bottom bracket would seem to be a great idea. The problem I had with this handle is that the straps don't fit my frame - they are too short. This meant that it couldn't be fitted in the prescribed position. At this point I was going to return it as it is quite an expensive item. Thinking about other position options the only part of my frame that it would fit is the down tube but for it to work efficiently it would have to be low down. This was sorted by fastening the top strap around the water bottle carrier keeping it in place when one lifts the bike. I am happy to find a good place for it, the leather complements my saddle which is the same colour. It has been designed for thin tubed steel frames whilst the bike I have it fitted is aluminium with wider tubing. A great product. I can always transfer to my vintage Falcon San Remo.

Well made, looks great & securely attaches. Good frame protection. Narrow handle piece cuts in a bit, and the front buckle slips toward the back when you pick up bike.
