Easy for homeowners to use on large projects for family/friends/neighbors.

I bought this Compactor to do some work on my home and to help out a few other friends/family/neighbors with their projects. Now, I am the go to guy when someone needs a compactor for a week or two. With that said, I am not a contractor, I work in an office setting, but I am putting this compactor to work. The Honda motor is always quick to start and smooth running. I am a fan of Honda motors as they are easy to work on and parts replacement is not a hassle, usually you can find parts locally, or are a few days away via online ordering. Once the compacter is started and you rev it, it really gets going. It starts to vibrate and compact dirt, gravel, and decomposed granite (DG). That is all I have used it on and it works fine. I got no complaints. I expect it to last as it is a simple design and the motor is of good quality. My purchase from California Tools and Equipment was quick and easy. They were very helpful and answered all me questions. A good business that Is busy and has items in stock. I called in to see what they had in stock, and they did have the items that I wanted to look at, so I drove out there. Once I got there, I checked out the compactors and went with this one. They helped my load it to my vehicle and even started it to show me how it worked. I have never used one before, therefore I am glad they did a demo of how to use it. Now, when I got home I looked like a pro when I showed it to family/friends. Overall a good purchase.
