The handle is not made from the same leather. It's a thin plastic-like material. The inside is not lined to protect against anything wet or a goopy shampoo or toothpaste cap. No inside pocket to keep small things separate like nail clippers, a couple band-aids, meds, or whatever. I'll probably use it for chargers, USB cables, cordless mouse, Bluetooth speaker, etc.

I use this dopp kit as an everyday cosmetic bag. It is very good quality and the leather has nice patina. I love that I don’t have to wait to travel to use it!
