This is a fresh, sweet, salty delight. It is reminiscent of watermelon, maybe coconut water? It sits very close to the skin in true JHAG style. Great as a summer scent, very beachy. Longevity is moderate to low although i do beleive that to be part of my chemistry as it has similar wear duration to every ktjer perfume i own

Salty Air, Synthetic Vanilla
From the very first spray, Vanilla Vibes doesn’t hint at vanilla - it shouts it through a megaphone. But before you picture cupcakes and frosting, pump the brakes. This is not a sweet, cozy vanilla. It’s a heavier, slightly darker vanilla, musked up and feeling a little broody, like vanilla wearing a leather jacket. As it dries down, things take a turn. The vanilla stays firmly in the “not sweet” lane but starts getting sharper and noticeably more synthetic on my skin. That’s when the salty, marine notes roll in, clearly aiming for beachy sophistication… but missing the mark. I love a good ocean-inspired scent, but here the vanilla goes a bit chemical, like it took a wrong turn through a lab on the way to the shore. Honestly, the overall vibe is giving “At the Beach” from Bath & Body Works—and not in a flattering, luxury-upgrade way. More like, why is this trying to cost so much more when I can grab the candle version on sale for $12? Performance was fine: about 6 hours on my skin with decent projection. But I never felt the urge to respray, mostly because I wasn’t excited to keep smelling it. Between the odd vanilla note and the fact that I already own plenty of beachy scents that smell better (and cost less), this one’s not earning a spot on my shelf. Verdict: a bold vanilla-beach concept that sounded great on paper, but on my skin? I’ll be leaving this one at the shoreline.

It's okay...
I like to pair this with Phlur's Beach Skin if I want to wear beach scents. Sometimes I'll top with Jo Malone's Beach Blossom. Vanilla Vibes doesn't really have a vanilla scent. It's more like a sunscreen-like scent which is why I pair it with other things. Lasts about an hour. Would I buy a full size? Probably not.
