Relieves Discomfort

After reloading a few dozen or so calibers, it didn't take long for the old original straight rounded handle on my Lee Challenger Press to become uncomfortable to use repeatedly. This served as a great replacement and made the whole process a fatigue/discomforting situation disappear. Couldn't be happier!

Better than the stock handle, but....

it really needs to be used on a press that is at least chest height for most users. I find that on my the bench height that my Challenger press is mounted on, (which is perfect for standing at), raising the ram to its top brings the handle down to a point I'm not willing to bend to. Consequently, I end up pushing on the rod part of the handle, and not using the roller. This is through no fault of the handle itself, but it is a bit of a disappointment. Lastly, when I use my Challenger for neck sizing rifle brass (which takes a bit more ummph! than other operations) the handle invariably twists out of the desired horizontal position, no matter how much I tighten the nut on the press part that holds the handles' rod. So, in all, this handle has not proven to be much of an improvement over the stock rod the press came with, but I plan on keeping it. I may figure out a way to raise my press base on the bench to mitigate the bending down issue.

Great Addition

What a nice birthday present this was. So much nicer to use my press with this handle. I usually use my press to resize and de-prime my cases before I clean them and this handle makes it so effortless. No hand fatigue from grasping the ball as before. If your birthday is coming up, I'd ask for one of these handles for your press or presses.
