Blundstone 1901 Dress Ankle Black

Ankle boots have been a staple of my wardrobe for over 30 years. I currently own 10 pairs, including three by BLUNDSTONE. I purchased this one after buying the brown version a month earlier. What sets these apart from other BLUNDSTONEs is the refined dress styling and lack of clunkitude. What sets them apart from other brands, is the softer rubber sole, which kicks ass over wood and leather. Finally, a boot that is comfortable and I don’t have to overthink the weather before pulling them out of the closet. Another thing to note, is that if you own other blundstones, these ones fit a little smaller. I normally wear a US 9/9½ and these AUS 8’s fit perfectly. Versus my other Blundtones are an AUS 7.5 and also fit great.
