I have never before owned a full 8 yard kilt, so this initiative has great potential for the bitter mountain winters here in the foothills of the French Massif Centrale. I have already trained the locals not to fall over backwards when they see a (very) grown man striding about in what looks to them like a woman's skirt. They now even say that they like the idea of adopting Highland Scottish winter dress.
