Black Wave (Black/Red) Drop Deck 42"

Great board!

I picked up the Black Wave, and am glad I did. It's my second KC board, and my first drop down. It took a minute to get used to. I've been riding since the mid 70s, and this board is a great ride! I get lots of compliments, and questions about it, and KC. Plus this matches nicely with my Shaka Sua. I'm looking forward to more boards and models from you. Shaka, KC! 🤙

Great setup for the $

I decided on a whim that I wanted to learn to ride a longboard. I'm 40 years old. Then I heard about land paddling. I did some research, visited many skate shops in Colorado and ultimately decided on the Kahuna drop deck board because I like the added stability. I also bought the adjustable land paddle for easy transport. I love the board, I feel like I need to tighten the trucks because it wobbles when going down hill. I wish the foot on the paddle had softer rubber on it. I gave myself blisters the first day out trying to press hard enough to keep the paddle in contact with the road s I could get a good solid push without the paddle slipping.

Kirra is an excellent employee at Kahuna Creations. Not only did she assist me with the gift of the black wave board ,which is exquisite, but she helped me get a replacement board when the original was stolen. I cannot say enough good things about Kirra or the quality of the hand painted longboard. It was a gift and my friend loves it. Thank you for making the innovative blackwave board and long stick available.
