Trichocereus Ornamental Cactus Starter Kit and 4"

The plants looked healthy and were well packaged. Im trying to root them now.

Timely receipt. About 4"tall w/ 3+"diameter. On arrival, the bottom 5/8" or so of about half the plant circum was a distinct yellow green. After a couple weeks it remains, faded a bit. Near drought in N FL, should I water at all? Pic if you want.
