Xeric Mystery Quartz Watch

Disappointed

I received a nice looking watch- a Trappist-1. However, the date can not be seen other than in direct light with a magnifying glass. In addition, even though I left the watch in a lit space for a week, it doesn't shine at night, so I can't read the time. Because I bought it as a mystery watch, it's on-returnable. Otherwise, it would be on its way back to Xeric already.

I really love my mystery watch, and wear it everyday, but to be completely honest it has some serious design flaws. The effect of the stars and wire fram really clutter the face and sometimes block the date. The moon for hour and minutes are not super easy to read. The moon phase is linear so it gives a realive position of the moon phase, not the appearance of the moon phase. After all of that I still thoroughly enjoyed to watch and am very satisfied with the mystery box.

Love Xeric watches! Got a super cool watch as part of the mystery program. Had a little hiccup and the attentive team at Xeric was all over it and fixed the issue quickly. Will gamble on an automatic next time!
