Opinel - no.8 VRN Carbon Steel Knife

Exactly what I wanted after customs took my Opinel which I had forgotten to put in my suitcase. I was heartbroken after using it for the 12 years I lived in France to sharpen all my pencils… Now I am a happy artist again.

Cheap knife

Does the job well will wear out very quickly I would think the blade hinges on a pin set in wood and don’t let it get wet it jams up , but it’s not a lot of money so thro it away and buy , another, modern way !!

Opinel knife

Unused as yet but seems to be ideal for the outdoor ramble and camping trip. Much lighter than many others
