I did a bunch of research prior to buying these and I love them. They fit great, nice high waist and long length, a beautiful light, but warm fabric. Perfect base layer.

Great for layering

Comfortable and great to wear under jeans during the winter season. Would recommend sizing up as they come out a bit snug. If you mostly hang them out to air (the properties in wool are self cleansing) and only handwash them once in a while they can last for years. We use have been Engel for the whole family for almost 30 years.
