This is our second balaclava of this type. I feel it is the perfect thickness and the kids love the softness. We have had our first for over a year and it is still in perfect condition even after daily outside wear by my rambunctious, tree climbing boy! We just ordered this second for my other son who loves it already. Totally sold on these, and the kids prefer them to a hat.
