Very Hard Steel

I bought the mount for my Jeep Patriot. It does not fit the standard roof rack rails. I purchased round cross bars to mount the antenna. I bought the Heavy Duty Stud, and had to drill the 3 Way Mount to fit. Even with a drill press and good bits, it took a long time to drill the hole. This mount is hard! The steel is so hard that it slips on the round bar. I pinned it to stop the slippage. With a 5' Firestick the mount does flex a bit, but I like the slight give. I believe it will be a good mount going forward.
